In this blog entry, we look at the ShieldUI
Grid theming mechanism. It allows easy customization of the look of the
control. While one can easily build custom themes, the javascript grid
control comes with a preset of 16 themes, which cover a wide variety of
visual styles.The themes are grouped in two categories: Light/Dark and WithGradients/Without gradients (metro themes).

The
themes can be changed by loading a different theme css file on the
page. All theme css files are available in the zip file from the distributed package. You can find all available themes demonstrated in our examples of the grid control. You can change the grid theme byusing the online demos theme chooser placed in the bottom right corner of each demo.
